The EDIFIER MR4 are active studio monitor speakers designed for accurate and balanced sound reproduction in music production, editing, and everyday listening. Their sound tuning was performed using the German KLIPPEL measurement system, which ensures a flat frequency response and accurate audio reference sound.

The speakers feature a 4-inch woofer with an improved diaphragm and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, which together deliver clear highs, natural mids, and a rich, controlled bass. Thanks to the Class-D amplifier and digital signal processing, low frequencies extend down to 60 Hz without distortion.

The enclosure is made of MDF, which significantly reduces resonance and unwanted sound coloration. This allows for more accurate reproduction of the original audio signal—a key requirement for studio work.

The MR4 supports two operating modes—Monitor Mode for precise listening during music creation and editing, and Music Mode for a more enjoyable and rich sound during everyday listening. Switching between modes is done directly from the front panel, where the multifunctional control knob is also located.

Thanks to their extensive connectivity options, the speakers can be used with both professional audio equipment and computers, laptops, and multimedia sources. The front-mounted headphone output allows for a quick switch to private listening without turning off the speakers.
