The Edifier MR3 are active 2.0 studio monitor speakers designed for the most accurate and faithful audio reproduction. The model is designed for home studios, video editing, music production, and critical listening, but is also perfectly suited for everyday high-quality music playback.

The speakers offer a flat frequency response ranging from 52 Hz to 40 kHz, enabling a neutral, transparent, and detailed sound without artificially emphasizing certain frequencies. This makes them ideal for tasks where sound accuracy is critical.

The acoustic configuration includes finely tuned 3.5-inch mid-bass drivers and 1-inch silk dome tweeters. Specially designed waveguides with a dimpled surface on the tweeters ensure a more even and extended high-frequency response, as well as a wider sweet spot.

The Edifier MR3 is Hi-Res Audio certified and supports audio processing at resolutions up to 24-bit/96kHz. The analog input section and the Class-D amplifier from Texas Instruments are configured for bit-perfect signal conversion and amplification, ensuring maximum accuracy and minimal loss.
The enclosure is made of MDF, which effectively reduces resonance and distortion, ensuring a clean and stable sound even at higher volume levels.

The model offers advanced room acoustic compensation capabilities. Control is via rear-panel controls and the EDIFIER ConneX mobile app, which allows adaptation to different acoustic conditions and speaker placements.

With a total output power of 36 W RMS (18 W + 18 W) and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 92.5 dB (peak at 1 meter), the speakers are suitable for both near-field listening and sound reinforcement in medium-sized rooms.

Connectivity includes a balanced TRS input, RCA, AUX, Bluetooth 5.4, and a headphone output, making the MR3 extremely versatile for use with various audio sources—audio interfaces, mixers, computers, mobile devices, and headphones.

Acoustic compensation and settings:

Disabling Network Standby mode:
- Turn the volume down to the minimum (0)
- Press the volume control twice
- If the front indicator flashes once, the mode has been successfully disabled
