The Edifier MR5 are high-precision active 3-way studio monitors designed for accurate and neutral sound reproduction. Thanks to a patented acoustic architecture and three-channel amplification with active crossover, the model ensures a smooth transition between low, mid, and high frequencies, reproducing audio exactly as it was recorded.

The system features finely tuned 5" woofers, 3.75" midrange drivers, and 1" silk dome tweeters, which together achieve a flat frequency response from 46 Hz to 40 kHz. This makes them suitable for music production, video editing, professional mixing, and critical listening, as well as for high-quality everyday playback.

The Edifier MR5 utilizes full digital signal processing (DSP), 3-way active crossover, and DRC (Dynamic Range Control). The total output power reaches 110 W RMS, and the maximum sound pressure level is up to 101 dB when measured at 1 meter, making them suitable for both near-field and mid-field configurations and for sound reinforcement in medium-sized rooms.

The specially designed high-frequency driver with a dimpled structure improves high-frequency dispersion and expands the so-called “sweet spot,” ensuring consistent and accurate sound across a wider listening area.

The model is certified to Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless standards and supports audio processing up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. The built-in Bluetooth 6.0 receiver supports the LDAC codec with a bitrate of up to 990 kbps and multipoint connection, allowing two devices to be connected simultaneously.

Connectivity is extremely flexible and includes balanced XLR and 6.35 mm TRS inputs for professional equipment, as well as RCA, 3.5 mm AUX, and Bluetooth. A headphone output is also available for convenient personal listening.

The Edifier MR5 offers advanced room acoustics compensation via rear controls and the EDIFIER ConneX mobile app. Users can adjust treble and bass, enable low-frequency cut-off, and compensate for placement relative to walls as well as reflections from desks.
