Important instructions for use and cleaning
Cast iron cookware is suitable for use on all types of stovetops, indoors or outdoors, except in microwave ovens. New cookware should be rinsed and dried thoroughly before first use

Cleaning
- Wash the cookware by hand using a nylon brush. If necessary, use a spatula to remove stuck-on food particles
- For heavily burnt food, boil water in the cookware for 1 minute, then scrape with a spatula after it has cooled
- Dry thoroughly immediately after washing with paper towels or a lint-free cloth
- Coat with a thin layer of cooking oil or a special spray for treating cast iron cookware. It is recommended to do this while the cookware is still warm
- Hang or store the cookware in a dry place. From time to time, you may notice dark spots on the cloth you use to wipe the cookware. This does not affect the safe use of the cookware—it is a result of the reaction between the oil used to season the cookware and slightly acidic or alkaline foods. This will disappear after a few uses and cleanings of the cookware. No soap or dish detergent is necessary. If you prefer, you may use a small amount of dish detergent.
